Does ANYBODY know anything about this deer. Buddy sent it to my phone this weekend. Rumor has it that it was killed in Owen Co. Ky. off 227 near Perry Park. I just want to set the record straight before rumors get carried away. PLEASE let me know anything about this deer.

There is a WMA on 227. Let me know if you hear something else.

High fence deer .. Lots of rumors, but go to boone and crockett .com trophy watch the truth is there. A friend told me this was his buddy here in PA. I no longer believe a word he says and rather not even talk to him..

This pic keeps on popping up everywhere. The guy has been slammed so many times on many sites over shooting a high fence deer. He probably feels like crawling under a rock.

It's too bad that there are so many versions on how this incredible buck was killed. If behind a high fence, it's not the first or the last. Doesn't sound like anyone is trying to claim it as a free range deer if it isn't. No story that I've seen anyway.
I agree Biscuits n NyQuil, the guy has been slammed. Too bad. Good to see that the hunters here at Awesome Whitetail are being civil.

If it had been killed in Owen County, I would have known about it. The pic has been edited with another guys face that was done as a joke to e-mail to his buddies, so I was told. It just got out of hand from there. Go to the link that NateDeezel posted and you will see that the buck was taken 2 years ago. Where and how seems to be the question. I say let's get off of it and go to the great bucks that were taken this year by free range hunters.
