I killed this buck 10-13-09, recovered and tagged 10-14-09. Been watching him grow for three years. I am very lucky to have killed this deer.

Awesome buck congrats. He has it all that you would want in a 10. Has he been fighting?

Look at the top of his neck Marion about 4" behind his left ear. The throat patch looks pushed out too like the arrow is still in there.

I can't get over this buck. He's a stud!

My (very bad) follow up shot. It helped kill the deer but I'm not too proud of it...but sometimes it happens

Hey you got him down and thats all that matters. Good job. I would have shot him in the antlers cause thats probably what I would have been looking at.
