Dont know the score yet. I gave the buck 16hours, not being sure of impact. I shot the buck at 45yds at roughly 7:45pm and low camera light in thick timber. I did not have a lighted nock on and had red fletchings so you can not see the impact, but see a good jump kick on the footage. He went 300yds and it was a low liver shot. I didnt want the cape to ruin and its still in great shape just trying to decide on a taxidermist and dont want to risk the cape for the sake of a score. Iam guessing 150 +- 4 inches. I have been told as high as 160 and as low as 146. Smoke this ol boy in Eastern Ky near morehead.

Did you post the hunt on you-tube? if so post the link will you. I checked all three pics and I think he,ll net down into the high 140,s. by the look of him, he,s got at less two tines with small deductions, and his right side main beam looks wider then the left. But I,ll tell you this, he is one big buck. did you weight him, I,m guessing 250 lbs. he,s a dandy !!!!!..........Peeker

Thx guys. I believe i am going to European him and use the cape on a larger buck I killed several years ago since the taxi. Shop burnt down and I lost my cape to him. I may try to record a clip of the footage by phone and post it. Don't want to show it all yet because I'm not sure where the footage is going now. I was hunting/filming for white knuckle productions and Whitetails Inc The past few years up until this past week. If I do post it, it will be within a week. Yeah your probably right with the net peeker but the only net I use is for musky, I like gross scores! The buck dressed 198 any is my largest bodied buck ever. Good history with him too, I am certain he is four from years of pics but I will know soon by jaw bone.thx again guys!

Great buck and nice pic! I agree with ya on the net for fishing. If they grew it, is should be and addition not a subtraction. I think he'll go 154. Way to kick off the 2011 season.
