Illinois archer Sean Lagacy hunts across the state line in Vermillion County, Indiana. Last fall he arrowed the buck of many lifetimes.

Although there have been many 8-pointers that have net scored 180 or a bit higher, this one might have the highest gross score for a 4x4 framed archery killed buck!

The gross on the main frame is a staggering 189 1/8" thanks in large part to sick mass (the 8 measurements add up to over 43"); main beams that both stretch to over 30"; and great tine length.

This buck has enough non-typical growth to bump the net typical score down to a "low" 172 5/8". However, when the extra tine length is added to the typical score after side-to-side deductions, it net scores 205 5/8" non-typical.

It's a rare animal that can net "book" in both categories; more so if it only has a 4x4 typical frame!

This special buck is the new # 2 non-typical Vermillion County buck, and will rank fairly high in Indiana's all-time archery non-typical category in the Hoosier Record Buck Program
