It's been a tough year for deer hunting up here in Alberta, Canada this past year. Mainly due to the last 3 harsh winters and the amount of wolves in alberta. The numbers have been spiralling downward at an alarming rate. But I did manage to find this unique buck while still hunting. I dropped him in his tracks at a distance of 40 yards while he was tending his doe. In the 30 day rifle season up here he ended up being the biggest buck I seen in roughly 20 days of hunting. And am happy with him and how my season went because I managed to take a non typical elk as well. People are telling me he's a bull of a lifetime. Check my gallery for more on the bull.

Great deer. My dad hunts by fort vermilion every year and still a lot of giants up there with the harsh winters. Where are you hunting? I usually hunt near peace river or lloydminster

Give a man a fish and he will eat for today, teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life.
