these are my first two finds of the year. i found the bigger one while walking thru a large blackberry thicket that i know deer have been bedding in. i bent down to go under a thorny branch and nearly stabbed my hand on it.

That looks like a nice 4 point shed. Nice tall sharp G2, decent bases....And just think, he's gonna be bigger next year. Are you gonna go back to look for the other side? So far ya have me beat for the year because all I've been able to find is that 2 point shed. We drove to Bloomington this weeked for the Deer show and we saw a group of 4 bucks all with both sides still attached. And the day I found my shed I jumped up a small 6 point with both sides on so I still feel like I'll have better luck in a few weeks.

I found a set like that one time. It was the thickest blackberry patch. There was like a tunnel going into it and there was a set way in there. I had to about crawl into it to get the antlers. I would never believe a buck would bed down in something like that. He could lay in there and just let hunters walk right on by and never be seen. Some of those bucks are smart

yeah i'm going try and find its match but if it fell off in the same blackberry thicket i'm gonna have a really hard time finding it. this stuff is extremely thick and visibility is right next to nothing, i'll pretty much have to get lucky and walk right over it to see it. i think most of the deer still have there antlers around here too i've seen a couple here in the last few weeks with both still attached.

nice finds...good luck finding its match. I havent had any luck since i found that set. going home the other day from chris (i live about 12 miles away) i seen 15 deer, one group of 4 another of 8 and one of 3, and only one out of the 15 had antlers. But, cant wait to find some more, good luck to ya.
