Don't get me wrong, that is a spectacular deer that any hunter would be proud of...definitely unique and is special.....I just don't see that it is big enough to be a world record...

Don't know. I would hate to try to score something like that. Not sure how much it will shrink.
The world record killed in 2003 by Tony Lovstuen in Albia, Iowa, had 38 points and scored 307 5/8 net.
This guys deer comes in at 308 3/8"

Pretty funny that he took it to a bank for safe keeping, but I can't say that I blame him for being so protective...imagine the look on the face of the banker when he brought that rack through the door!

It is official. His buck scores 312 3/8" beating the previous world record.
