well call me color blind bonpas but i sure don't see a blue tongue hanging out on this skull!!! im smart enough to figure out the fact that when they die of blue tongue that they indeed have a blue tongue, but there are a lot of people posting pictures across the internet of skulls that are completely deteriorated and saying they died of blue tongue. my question is how can you tell when there isn't much left of the remains. i wasn't trying to be smart, i was asking a simple question!

okay smart ass' we found this deer dead laying in the middle of a creek full of water and called the game warden and he stated that it most likely is blue tongue plus there are lots of deer dying all over the state because of this disease, so thanks for the sarcasm, i was posting this for people to enjoy not to make negative comments about it, so get a life

It really surprises me ( in this case for instance) Oh and not being a smart ass that a lot of peaple assume that if they find a dead deer this year that it died of this horrid desease and I guess an assumption from a GW is gospel it just would have been a coincidence to find a deer dead neer a creek last year. But some people want others to think that they really know alot.... And what enjoyment did you think anybody would get from that picture???? I would much rather see them on here dead from a black arrow.....

mathewsguy your an idiot. He posted the picture for people to see if you didnt like it dont post on it. Simple enough. Get a life instead of trying to start stuff on the internt. The deer probably did die of blue tounge you say your from kentucky. Have you not seen in every paper or internet article about blue tounge. you must not get out much because there are reports on it everywhere.

KYMATHEWSGUY what is your deal? Deer tend to head toward water when blue tongue is in full swing. That is a known fact between hunters and biologists alike. Ya, maybe it died from a gut shot or some other cause but with the rash of blue tongue it is a fair assumption that that was the cause. We are all huters here and it is up to us all to stick together not get torn apart over something as small as an interpritation of a post. As stated if you dont like the picture fine, but this deer is getting the credit for the antlers it grew on this site. Unfortunatly it died in a way most hunters dont like to see such a great deer go but it did. kyheadhunters was simply showing us a deer that was obtained through a trip to the woods. No different then finding a skull while shed hunting. End of story.

man oh man....look what i started on here. i asked a question, the poster of the pic got all bent out of shape, and now everyone is using this pic as a place for argument. im sorry to the poster for anything i said to offend him. I will gladly delete my comments if you want me to. it is a very nice deer and its a shame that it was found dead and not killed by you as a hunter. good luck in your deer season!
